Aluminium Bifold Doors
The premium choice. Slim sightlines as narrow as 20mm maximise glass area. Stronger frames allow larger panel sizes (up to 1200mm wide per panel). Available in any RAL colour including dual-colour options. Typical cost: £3,500-£9,000 for a 3-5 panel set.
UPVC Bifold Doors
More affordable entry point. Wider sightlines (50-70mm) but good thermal performance. Limited colour range. Best for budget-conscious projects. Typical cost: £2,000-£6,000 for a 3-5 panel set.

- 2 panels: Folds to one side. Opening width 1.2-1.8m
- 3 panels: Most popular configuration. Opening width 1.8-2.7m
- 4 panels: Opening width 2.4-3.6m. Can fold 3+1 or 2+2

- 6 panels: Opening width 3.6-5.4m. Usually 4+2 or 3+3 split
