Timber options

Engineered pine is our standard, cost-effective softwood — stable, well-suited to painted finishes. Accoya is modified timber with an exceptional 50-year above-ground guarantee and outstanding stability, our recommended choice for painted windows. Sapele is a dense, fine-grained hardwood, and European oak is a premium hardwood that looks superb bare or oiled. All timber joinery is factory-machined to your sizes and built as engineered, laminated sections for stability.

Glass and safety glazing

Choose clear, obscure (Arena C / Stippolyte), tinted or satin glass. Toughened safety glass is available across the range — required by building regulations in critical locations such as low-level glazing and next to doors. Part Q security glazing meets Approved Document Q for new dwellings. Decorative diamond or square leading can be added for a period look.

Delivery and lead time

Because every unit is made to your specification, the standard lead time is 6–10 weeks from order, delivered to UK mainland addresses. We'll confirm your specification and arrange payment before production begins.

Frequently asked questions

What size should I order?

Order the finished frame size — the tightest point of your brick opening, less 10 mm all round to allow for fitting. Width can be 300–5000 mm and height 300–4000 mm, in 5 mm steps. If you're unsure, call our team on 0800 088 6341 before ordering.

Which timber should I choose?

For a painted finish, Accoya offers the best stability and a 50-year guarantee. Engineered pine is the most economical. Sapele and oak suit stained or oiled finishes where you want the grain to show.

Is the price I see the final price?

The delivered price shown is for the specification you've configured, to a UK mainland address. We confirm it when we review your order — unusual sizes or specifications are checked at that point. The price excludes installation.

Do you fit the windows?

The online price is for supply and delivery. Installation can be arranged separately — mention it in the order notes or call us and we'll advise.

How long will my order take?

Made-to-measure timber joinery is delivered 6–10 weeks from order.

Can I order a different colour inside and out?

Yes — choose a factory painted finish and add a different inside colour at the finish step.
